Montana...what a wonderful state to call home. I envision vast expanses of open spaces. A luxury to those of us who live in crowded Brooklyn. I miss the midwest where I grewup.

Valerie: you got caught in a late season Alberta Express which spreads down over the northern midwest several times each winter from arctic Canada, but usually not so late in the season. We are hoping for spring here in Montana as it has always arrived before June :)

The inkjet transfer project is as yet unfinished, I'm working on a mixed media jewelry project, so far in my head and on the hard drive. Maria

Had a great nights sleep! Kinda died (grin). I am going to try and take some pictures today and post later on.

And it's snowing! Probably the last snow I'll see this season. I did pack boots, so am prepared.

Hi squash and thanks!
Am sitting in the hotel room finally. The saga continued. In Albuquerque the folks from Interweave had reserved a premium rental car for me! A Chrysler 300 was waiting with all the bells and whistles. I drive a '91 my mechanic tells me not to take on the highway. The Chrysler is a big treat. I got in and thought 'who needs a hotel room'. Should have kept a blank mind.
The hotel is under construction and no elevator. My reservation was for a deluxe suite on the second floor (courtesy of Interweave). Well, with no elevator, forget it. Jewelry classes require too many tools for me to be carrying them up and down stairs.
No other room was ready. So I went over to the convention center and introduced myself. Met the instructor of the class I missed today. Then went back and accepted a smaller room....just to get in, get a shower, and rest!
