Have you considered we are abusing the heck out of the Samsung?

If you watch the sales the cost of the printer falls to what it costs to purchase a set of ink cartridges. So, in effect, you are getting the printer free. (The Samsungs I have purchased have come with a set of full ink cartridges.)

You have to buy ink anyway, the machine just gets shipped as a bonus!

That is how I interpret this crazy market,

My little Samsung has started to have constant paper jams, it will no longer work, to get it repaired will cost more than the printer itself. I have seen multiple accounts of this problem with the 315, buyer beware. I'm heartbroken, no more transfers.

Hehehe I love your disclaimer Valerie! The printer looks like a great one. Will have to think about that. I have a black and white laser printer and the ink goes on forever so the cost per page is much less than many inkjet printers are. Would love to have a color laser printer. There are so many cool things that can be done with them!

Valerie, thanks so much for this tip. It gave me the incentive to take the leap and order the Samsung printer. I tried the parchment transfer method with 3 different inkjet printers, wasn't happy with the results and gave up on it for a while. I just ordered more paper from you and can't wait to try this out when the printer arrives.
